Help Us Fundraise
Do you want to do your bit to promote social justice and improve the lives of vulnerable children? We encourage you to organise your own fundraiser or join in with one already running.
Increase Your Impact
To increase your reach, ask BTPA to promote your event through our social media (Facebook and Instagram) or create your own link to our mycause page.
Email communications@btpa.org.au with details.
How will my fundraising help?
Every little bit helps. You can nominate whether your fundraising goes to a specific project or whether it can be used to support the day to day running of Bahay Tuluyan. We respect your wishes and will ensure the money is spent as you specify.
To consider a suitable project/goal, please contact Clare – clare@btpa.org.au or fill out the form below.

Sell Our Products
We have a wide range of goods to sell (visit our online store). If you would like to run a market stall, speak to Clare about selling our items. These items are particularly good for Mother’s Day Stalls at schools.
Host An Event
Run an event to support BTPA. In the past, supporters have hosted meals, stalls or school events.
Get Sponsored
What can you take up or give up for sponsorship? Some of our supporters choose to give up something (eg. electricity, meat, alcohol, etc) or take up something (only eating rice) to raise funds for BTPA.
Take up a challenge
Set yourself a goal and walk/run/swim for BTPA. You can seek sponsors through our mycause page.
Raise Community Awareness
Get everyone involved as you raise awareness. You could host a crazy hat day, an ice cream day, a casual clothes day
What Have Others Achieved?
We believe that everyone can make a difference. Here are some stories of individuals, groups, and schools who took on our challenge to ‘Do what you can, where you are, with what you have’.
Selling BTPA’s Products
At Our Lady’s Craigieburn, the students were inspired by the KidsView Incursion and wanted to prove that anyone can make a change in the world, even children.
After selling BTPA’s products at school, they raised enough money to send five children to school for a year.
$1,204 Donated
Art Show and Book Bazaar
The students from Our Lady Help of Christians, Eltham ran an Art Show and Book Bazaar.
It was a chance to share great books, show off their artistic talents AND raise money for Bahay Tuluyan.
$452 Donated
Social Justice Luncheon
At Sacred Heart College Geelong, the students ran a ‘Social Justice Luncheon’ for a gold coin donation. Guests were split into three different categories:
- Brown (Extremely Poor): 180 people – Single bread roll
- Red (Moderately Poor): 80 people – Soup and bread roll
- Green (Very Rich): 20 people – Party pies, Sausage rolls, Cupcakes, Chips and Chocolate
The injustice of the meal outraged some of the students. However, after watching the ‘Miniature Earth’ video, they reflected on the reality of poverty, and how fortunate they really are. They realised just how unfair and unjust world poverty is.

Homemade Products
Oliver (5) and Joshua (3) wanted to help the children of Bahay Tuluyan. They collected rocks and added googly eyes, hair and mouths to create pet rocks. They sold them for ‘$1 or more’ to everyone they met. The boys raised over $1000.
James (5) wanted to make a difference. He created works of art at kinder and sold them for 10c. He raised hundreds of dollars. When he visited the Philippines with his family, he helped to buy bags of rice for the children of Bahay Tuluyan.
