At Bahay Tuluyan, a major emphasisis is placed on providing child to child support. The children are empowered to support one another and work together for a better world.
At BTPA, we use this child to child model to teach Australian students about social justice and being a global citizen.
In 2018, Michael and Arnel have been selected for their outstanding contribution to supporting vulnerable children. They are active in the Filipino community, engaging children in Bahay Tuluyan’s programs and enabling them to make changes to their own lives. Michael and Arnel are former participants in BT’s programs and will speak from personal experience about poverty and its challenges.
We congratulate Michael and Arnel on being selected as ambassadors for BT and look forward to their safe arrival in April.
